Marquesate launched Camouflage Press in November 2008, to publish some of her works of gay military fiction. Whilst publishing with international erotica publishers, such as MLR Press, Cleis Press and Slashbooks, she strongly believes in the empowerment of the author, while remaining humble in the face of the raw text, and putting great emphasis on quality and editing. Marquesate has been successful with the use of print-on-demand service Lulu, and that has encouraged her to further pursue the path of taking publishing into her own hands, while enjoying working with excellent editors.

Having made a well-known name in the gay military genre, Marquesate is delighted to be able to offer paperback and ebooks through Camouflage Press. The straightforward, yet striking covers have become Marquesate's trademark, and she will always keep her promise that each of the books can be read on public transport without causing embarrassment.
